Crittenden County Schools is seeking a K12 Supervisor of Instruction for its district for the 2025-2026 school year. Candidates should hold proper certification. The ideal candidate will:
- Plan and execute a district-wide program of curriculum review and development
- Serve as the District Assessment Coordinator (DAC)
- Provide leadership in the evaluation of instructional methods and programs, and recommend such changes and improvements as are needed
- Guide individual professional development experiences for principals via the evaluation process
- Integrate instructional programs
- Assist principals in the planning and implementation of effective programs of supervision and evaluation
- Design, recommend, and carry out educational initiatives, disseminate and interpret the results to administrators, teachers, and parents as appropriate
- Assist in the recruiting, interviewing, screening, and recommending of qualified candidates for positions on school staffs
- Supervise and coordinate the work of curriculum coaches
- Provide guidance in the selection and use of textbooks and other instructional materials
- Work with teachers in the preparation of curriculum materials
- Act as a liaison with other school districts, universities, and state department personnel in order to keep abreast of new educational developments and ideas
- Keep current with educational developments and literature in the field of education and participate in the affairs of state and national professional societies devoted to the advancement of education
- Assist with all assessment and accountability programs, data analyses, and interpretation
- Demonstrate regular attendance and punctuality
- Adhere to the appropriate code of ethics
- Perform other duties consistent with the position assigned as may be requested by the superintendent
