Applications are being accepted for a Digital Learning Coach at Crittenden County Schools for the 2025-2026 school year. Salary is based on rank and experience as reflected on the Crittenden County Schools Certified Salary Schedule. There will be twenty extended days with this position.
Qualifications:
- Current Kentucky teaching certification
- Demonstrated minimum of five years successful classroom experience
- In-depth knowledge and use of a variety of digital learning tools, including AI
- Demonstrated success in using digital tools and resources
- Demonstrated successful experience of effective practices for teaching and learning
- Demonstrated success working with peers or other adults in leadership or training roles
- Understanding of adult learning styles and past history of teaching technology skills to adults
- Excellent organization, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Reports To: Supervisor of Instruction
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning and Implementation:
- Develop and implement technology integration plans for schools and classrooms.
- Identify and recommend appropriate instructional technology tools and resources.
- Design and deliver professional development and training sessions for teachers and staff.
- Coaching and Mentoring:
- Provide ongoing support and coaching to teachers on using technology effectively in their classrooms.
- Model best practices for technology integration and student engagement.
- Collaborate with teachers to create engaging and differentiated learning experiences.
- Leadership and Communication:
- Serve as a resource for teachers and administrators on technology-related matters.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and best practices in educational technology.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including teachers, administrators, and parents.
- Student Learning and Engagement:
- Focus on using technology to enhance student learning and engagement.
- Promote the use of technology to support diverse learning needs.
- Encourage the creation of student-designed digital products and digital collaboration.
- Other Duties:
- Assist with the selection and evaluation of new technology tools and resources.
- Help to troubleshoot technical issues and provide technical support.
- Complete all record-keeping and reporting documentation in a timely, comprehensive, and accurate manner.
- Travel to different school sites as needed.
